Last week was the beginning of the alphabet series. I wrote a blog about the letter "W." This week, I will give you that blog and this one on the letter "I." Stay with this series to reveal what word I am writing about. You will enjoy getting insight into why and my reason for creating this series.
The journey to make a difference is like a long and winding road. There's been turns and twists and never-ending potholes. When I think the road will straighten out and be easier to navigate, it replies, " I will INTRODUCE(bring something,(especially a product measure or concept)into use or operation for the first time) you to a new set of lanes to travel on and see how you cope with them!" You give your best when you try to bring change. You want to INSPIRE(Fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially something creative)people to know there is life outside their current circumstances. In heaven, they pave the streets with gold. That's what awaits us there, but I want you to experience your paradise here on Earth. It takes INGENUITY(the quality of being cleverly inventive or resourceful) and a different perspective on life using your mind!
Your IMAGINATION(the act of forming a mental IMAGE(a visual representation of something)not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality) starts the car on its road to whatever you dream! The route you travel guides you to a destination you create! This world revolves around the imagination of people like you who believe in something bigger than themselves! We benefit from their IDEAS(thoughts or suggestions as to a possible course of action), risks, and willingness to use the gifts God gave them. These ideas require them to act in an INTELLIGENT(ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations)state of being, and they INVENTED(produce something for the first time through the use of imagination or ingenious thinking and experiment)everything we have and use today! My mentor, Mary Morrison, Brave Thinking Institute, reveals that We create everything twice, once in thought, then in reality! Your imagination put the key in the car and ignited(to arouse) a spark to get your motor running. The ideas begin to develop in your dream, and then you process this revelation.
Your imagination is limitless! It develops fascinating concepts from a single or numerous thoughts. It processes this INFORMATION(what is conveyed or represented by a particular arrangement or sequence of things) and puts your car "drive" so you begin to move across the road. There are feelings you have(INTUITION) that help you take the turn and navigate this process. You may not know what is around that corner. You gain more courage and confidence with each new day's information. Sometimes days, months, or years go by, and your car is stuck in neutral! Don't give up! If your engine and transmission are still functioning(your passion and WILL), find yourself a mechanic or mentor to INVIGORATE(give strength or energy to)you to navigate your journey.
We often feel like we must travel these roads alone. The navigation system INFORMS(gives someone facts or information)you of the potholes, stalled cars, and construction that may run you off the road, keeping you from reaching your destiny! In these times, you need to turn on Waze or call on a coach for support to get you going in the right direction! Finding the key to start the car or the project you are trying to bring to fruition takes time and effort. The opportunity or IDEA comes to you, and you start looking for the key that will fit in the IGNITION(the firing up of something, usually an engine)to get you moving toward your goal. You think you can do all the driving yourself, but you must possess the navigation system to avoid these twists and turns on your journey. It's excellent to reach out to someone you know who can help steer you toward that goal or dream. They can help you reach your destiny faster than you can. They can support your drive by providing you with treatments of confidence and support and advice to keep you awake. Your support will help you with INNOVATIVE(introducing new ideas, original and creative thinking) objectives to see you through to where you are trying to go.
Looking back over time, we can see where it took someone else's knowledge and skill to help successful people realize their dreams! People will tell you they didn't achieve success on their own. Just like they say, "It takes a village to raise a child," it takes a mechanics team to assemble an automobile. If you want it to perform to peak standards, the knowledge you gain from others is INVALUABLE(valuable beyond estimation)because the better it runs, the more use you gain from it! The same goes for support from a mentor or coach. They bring the best out of you and get you to perform beyond your limitations! They warn you of the potholes that will arise and help steer you in the right direction to get around them or soften the blow of you running into one!
The will be all types of potholes and corners you must navigate. You will find yourself on roads you don't want to go down and ones that are narrow and slippery. There will be construction zones and dead ends. You will have detours and distractions. There will be routes where you slow down and some routes where you must wait because of unforeseen accidents. You must realize that there is a final destination in mind. Once you put that key in the ignition, you will start moving somewhere when you put that car in drive. Getting a navigation or support system to help you reach your final destination or destiny is advantageous! Don't give up! If you run out of gas, go to your support to help refill you with power, confidence, and faith to keep you going!
